JSPF Playlist Converter

What This Converter Does

ListenBrainz exports your playlists in the JSPF format—a JSON-based schema. Since most players and services don’t accept JSPF directly, this tool converts your ListenBrainz-exported JSPF file into more common playlist formats.

  • CSV: Comma-separated values with columns for Title, Artist, Album. Ideal for spreadsheet edits or third-party imports.
  • M3U: Extended M3U with #EXTINF tags showing artist, title, and album. Play in nearly any media player.
  • XSPF: XML-based playlist standard, keeping your tracks in a structured, portable format compatible with many music apps.

After converting, download your new playlist file and import it into services like TuneMyMusic or Soundiiz.

Just drop in your ListenBrainz JSPF export, choose an output format, click “Convert,” and you’re ready to go!

How to Keep HomeBrew Clean on a Mac

HomeBrew is a package manager (similar to the linux "apt-get"/"zypper"/"yum" front end package managers that are usually shipped with different distros) with one exception: it was built for Apple MacOS systems as a solution since Apple doesn't offer or ship one with MacOS. Dependencies While HomeBrew is a great solution and offers most features other modern package managers offer and has a rich reposatory, it lacks some useful features that make it difficult to use for the purpose of managing installed packages.
